A cosplay photo shoot event called "Kabucos Second" (カブコスsecond) will be held at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower and Seibu-Shinjuku Station in Shinjuku, Tokyo, from the evening of Saturday, November 21, 2026, until early morning on Sunday, November 22. Tokyu Kabukicho Tower is holding the event jointly with Seibu Railway.
The event was conceived by a current Seibu Railway station attendant who enjoys cosplay photography, out of a wish to let people enjoy cosplay shoots in places that are normally difficult to photograph, such as station platforms and inside trains. It is the second installment following "Kabucos 2026" (カブコス2026), held in February 2026. Participants can take photos with an out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere, making use of the real spaces of a station, where taking photos freely is usually difficult.
Against the unique scenery of Kabukicho, where the everyday and the extraordinary intersect, participants can shoot to their heart's content.
Event Details
- Date and time: Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 7:00 PM until early morning on Sunday, November 22 (held rain or shine; canceled in case of severe weather)
- Venue: Tokyu Kabukicho Tower and Seibu-Shinjuku Station
- Capacity: 150 people (100 cosplayers and 50 photographers), first come, first served
- Eligibility: Ages 20 and over (participants must bring an official ID document)
- How to participate: A ticket application in advance is required

Notes:
- Cosplayer tickets include a changing room and cloakroom service. Photographer tickets do not include cloakroom service.
- Only participants with Cosplayer Ticket A can shoot at the terrace on the 17th floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, which offers a full view of the Seibu lines.
- All tickets include a ¥1,000 meal voucher that can be used at "Shinjuku Kabuki hall - Kabuki Yokocho" on the 2nd floor of the tower.

Shinjuku Kabuki hall - Kabuki Yokocho (2F)
Shinjuku Kabuki hall - Kabuki Yokocho is a space where "Neo Tokyo" and Edo-era atmosphere intersect, offering photogenic cosplay shooting in all 360 degrees.
namco TOKYO (3F)
namco TOKYO is an experience-based entertainment space that blends games and music. Participants can take futuristic cosplay shots surrounded by light and sound.
Other Spots
Only participants with Cosplayer Ticket A can enjoy shooting at "SPACE WEST TERRACE" on the 17th floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, which offers a full view of the Seibu lines. In addition, areas that are normally off-limits at night will be specially opened for the event only, and a program that allows cosplay shooting in locations not usually available for photos is planned.
