A coffee festival unlike any other is set to take place at "Perie Square," the multipurpose space located beneath JR Kaihin-Makuhari Station. Organized by Chiba Station Building Co., Ltd., KAIMAKU Blend Station (カイマクブレンドステーション) will run on March 21 (Saturday) and 22 (Sunday), 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day.
The event is themed around the idea of the station, its people, and the surrounding community all "blending" together. Alongside booths run by local coffee shops, visitors can try their hand at creating their own original coffee blends using beans from around the world.
Event Highlights
Coffee Tasting from Local Shops
Local coffee shops will set up booths at the venue, offering visitors a chance to sample each shop's signature coffee. Coffee beans and related products will also be on sale, making it a great opportunity to find a new favorite.
A Special Cup Brewed by Station Staff
At the reception booth, Perie Station staff will prepare an original blend and serve it directly to visitors free of charge — a unique experience you can only have at this station.
Food and Music
Baked goods and other food stalls are also on the lineup, along with music to complement the relaxed outdoor atmosphere.
Original Blend Creation Experience
Using a wide variety of coffee beans sourced from around the world, visitors can craft their very own original blend while exploring different aromas and flavor profiles.
Visitor Gift
As a special bonus, guests who visit the reception booth will receive a coupon redeemable for one petit bread at "Délifrance" inside Perie Kaihin-Makuhari, available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. (Valid on the day of receipt only.)

Perie Square is a multipurpose community space that opened on November 15, 2025, directly connected to the commercial facility "Perie Kaihin-Makuhari" at JR Kaihin-Makuhari Station.
