"Katsuura Tokyu Fureai Festa 2026," a community festival celebrating music and food, will be held on May 5, 2026 (Tuesday, national holiday) at the Fureai Hiroba in Sunny Park, located within Tokyu Resort Town Katsuura in Katsuura City, Chiba. Admission is free.
About the Festival
Set against the scenic natural backdrop of Tokyu Resort Town Katsuura, the event is designed to showcase local community charm through music and food. DJ service will be provided by FOOMYS, a disco from Kamogawa City, who will be curating the atmosphere and playing song requests from attendees throughout the day.
The stage program features cheerleading performances and yosakoi dance routines, offering a lively, colorful experience for all ages.
Sports Activities
In addition to the stage events, sports experiences will be available on the day. The 3-on-3 professional basketball team "esDGz OTAKI.EXE" will hold a basketball experience session, and there will also be soccer and molkky activity programs for visitors to try.
Food Trucks
A variety of kitchen cars from local restaurants will be on-site, offering a taste of the flavors from the Minamiboso Peninsula.
