Kanzake Fest 2026 - Warm Sake Festival Returns to Tokorozawa Sakuratown (February 28 to March 1)

KADOKAWA Corporation will host "Kanzake Fest 2026" at Tokorozawa Sakuratown in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, for two days on February 28 (Saturday) and March 1 (Sunday), 2026. The festival celebrates kan-zake (warm sake), allowing visitors to savor the deep flavors of Japanese sake that transform with temperature variations.

Discovering New Expressions of Sake Through Temperature

Kan-zake (warm sake) is one of the major appeals of Japanese sake, as warming brings out the rich umami and sweetness inherent in rice. Beyond warming the body from within, heated sake enhances the flavors of food, making it an increasingly popular way to enrich winter moments.

At this event, sake breweries passionate about kan-zake gather at Tokorozawa Sakuratown. The venue offers paid tasting sessions where visitors can engage in conversations with brewery representatives and staff, as well as an on-site sales area where attendees can purchase their favorite bottles.

Gourmet Options That Complement Kan-zake

In the outdoor plaza, local delicacies and food trucks offering dishes that pair perfectly with warm sake will be available. Visitors can enjoy the marriage of kan-zake and gourmet food. The event is designed to be enjoyable for sake enthusiasts and families alike, offering a full day of activities.

Note: Exchangeable gourmet items via tickets are limited to select vendors. Other purchases require cash.

Details will be announced sequentially on the official website.
