Kawasaki Good Times World, marking its 20th anniversary this year, is reopening on Friday, September 25, with renewed exhibits and video content, transforming into a facility where visitors can enjoy Kawasaki's history, technology, and manufacturing appeal even more than before.
History Zone
The History Corner, which introduced the background of the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group's founding along with the history of its businesses and products through panels, has been completely redesigned from the ground up.
As a new highlight, an animation depicting the story of founder Shozo Kawasaki and first president Kojiro Matsukata is now shown, conveying the founding spirit of the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group in a more approachable way.
World Theater
At the World Theater, which introduced a range of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group products through powerful video, the video content has been completely refreshed and a new lighting production has been added.
Visitors can enjoy Kawasaki's diverse lineup of products in a striking space where video and light come together as one.
New Experience Zone
A new experience zone using airplane models has been added, where visitors can enjoyably learn about the ingenuity and thinking behind manufacturing while experimenting with balancing the model's center of gravity.
The popular Flight Simulator has also had its visuals and controls renewed, bringing it closer to an actual aircraft, for those who want to try a more realistic flight.
