A new tea shop, "TEA DIARY Produced by 伊藤園," will open on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, on the basement floor of Daimaru Kobe in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. The shop is themed around the everyday life of a traveling girl and a cup of tea.
"TEA DIARY Produced by 伊藤園" is a shop that suggests tea to match the mood of the day, much as one enjoys the seasons, the scenery and the people one meets. Built on the concept of "my own tea diary that records my favorite moments," it carries 14 kinds of tea bags, including Japanese tea, black tea, flavored tea and rooibos tea.
The package design is by 有村綾, an illustrator based in Kobe who is popular for gentle touches and illustrations with a sense of story. Her illustrations, which take Kobe's streets, culture and moments with tea as their motifs, add color to the time spent choosing tea. The shop itself is designed in white and navy, inspired by Kobe's Western-style houses, and offers the fun of choosing tea and discovering a favorite.
