Koshigaya Fireworks Festival, a Saitama Summer Tradition, Draws About 250,000 Visitors

The Koshigaya Fireworks Festival, a summer tradition in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture, was held in grand fashion on Saturday, July 25, drawing an estimated 250,000 visitors. As the crowd counted down "3, 2, 1," large fireworks lit up the sky, and the venue was filled with cheers.

Koshigaya's fireworks are launched from the waterside of the embankment between Kasai Yosui (葛西用水) and the Moto-Arakawa River. The fireworks reflected beautifully on the surface of the river, delighting the spectators who came out to watch.
