The Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts (MOCAD), which showcases the city's diverse traditional industries and works to pass them on to future generations, is holding a "Summer Kyomono Sale" as part of its traditional industry promotion efforts, timed to coincide with Kyoto City's "Summer Eco Office Movement."
The sale features a wide range of traditional craft products suited to both business and everyday summer life. Items include Kyoto sanada-himo braid neck straps and Nishijin weave neckties for the workplace, cooling Kyoto folding fans, Kiyomizu-yaki ceramic cups, and Kyoto-yuzen dyed coasters.
Special In-Person Sale at Zest Oike — June 1
Traditional craft products ideal for cool business-casual (cool biz) style will be available for purchase at a special pop-up at Zest Oike.
