Premium Seafood BBQ Buffet at Kyukamura Kesennuma Oshima Begins February 1

Kyukamura Kesennuma Oshima, a resort hotel located on Kesennuma Oshima Island in northeastern Miyagi Prefecture, will begin offering a new accommodation plan called "Premium Seafood BBQ Buffet Plan" starting February 1, 2026.

The plan centers around winter seafood from the Sanriku coast, including Sanriku oysters, Hokkaido scallops, and crab. Guests can grill their favorite items at their own pace using table-top roasters, creating a dining experience that evokes the atmosphere of beachside cooking.

Winter Sanriku Seafood in BBQ Style

The dinner features a BBQ-style presentation inspired by the island's food culture, allowing guests to grill seafood on the spot. The menu highlights winter seafood at its peak, including Sanriku oysters, Hokkaido scallops, and crab, letting diners enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients.

Each table is equipped with a smoke-free roaster, enabling guests to enjoy freshly grilled items indoors without worrying about smoke or odors.
