Jinchu's Beef Tongue Sendai Chili Oil is a chili oil meant to be eaten (食べるラー油), with beef tongue as the star ingredient. About Miyagi Supporter Pokémon Lapras
In July 2019, Lapras was appointed Miyagi Supporter Pokémon. It carries out PR activities such as visiting tourist spots around the prefecture and appearing at events.
Lapras, a Pokémon that carries riders across the water, was chosen as Miyagi's featured Pokémon (推しポケモン) out of a wish for many people to travel on Lapras's back, especially to the coastal areas that suffered heavily in the disaster.

Pokémon Local Acts is an initiative in which The Pokémon Company has been working on various projects since April 2018 in cooperation with Hokkaido and the prefectures of Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Fukui, Mie, Tottori, Kagawa, Kochi, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, and Okinawa.
