Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel in Moriyama City, Shiga Prefecture, will offer a new buffet-style lunch called "Pick & Enjoy Lunch" at its 12th-floor restaurant, Grill & Dining G, from June 1 to August 31, 2026. Priced at ¥4,500 per person (tax and service charge included), the menu combines a diner's choice of main course with an open buffet of deli salads, warm dishes, desserts, and drinks.
The concept centers on the pleasure of choosing. The buffet showcases a rotating selection of deli salads built around local Shiga ingredients and seasonal produce, with dishes varying in color, texture, and preparation style. Cold and warm items are served side by side, and guests can mix and match freely to suit their mood and appetite. The main course rounds out the experience with a single plate chosen from a selection of fish and meat options, each balanced to complement the lighter buffet fare. Desserts and drinks are also included to round off the meal.
