LEGOLAND Discovery Center Osaka, operated by Merlin Entertainments Japan, announces the launch of Animal Adventure, a new limited-time event running from February 6 (Friday) to April 19 (Sunday), 2026.
Following the success of last summer's event, Succhi, the leader of Yoshimoto Shinkigeki comedy troupe, will return as the expedition leader for Animal Adventure. He will appear at a special one-day-only event on March 7 (Saturday), 2026, to explore the Animal Adventure experience.
This marks the first collaboration between LEGOLAND Discovery Center Osaka, which values the "power of play" through LEGO bricks and provides "learning through play," and Tennoji Zoo, which continuously offers encounters with diverse creatures and promotes the importance of coexistence between humans and nature. The event represents an unprecedented initiative to encourage visitors to freely experience, imagine, and express the world of animals through the "power of play."
Event Highlights
The event features exclusive LEGO builds of popular animals, exhibitions of LEGO brick animals created by one of the world's 30 Master Model Builders, and opportunities to learn about animal characteristics through LEGO bricks. Visitors can experience the joy of "learning while playing" throughout the facility, making it a perfect outing for families with children.
Build a Red Panda
The main attraction is an exclusive Red Panda LEGO model designed specifically for this event. Visitors can complete the build while exploring the facility, and the finished LEGO model can be taken home as a souvenir.
Find Tennoji Zoo Friends (Location: Miniland)
Special LEGO builds representing Tennoji Zoo animals will be displayed within Miniland. Visitors can search for animals hidden among Osaka's cityscape in Miniland while observing their characteristics.
Featured animals: Malayan Sun Bear, Tiger, Hippopotamus, Lion, Polar Bear, Giraffe, Red Panda
Build Tennoji Zoo Friends (Location: Event Area)
An open area where visitors can freely build Polar Bear and Giraffe LEGO models. The completed builds can be displayed and photographed for memorable keepsakes.
LEGO Class (Location: Academy – Paid Workshop)
During the event period, special LEGO classes featuring a "Dog" model will be held.

Profile: Succhi (Yoshimoto Shinkigeki)
Born January 26, 1972, in Osaka Prefecture.
Active as the comedy duo Bikkies from 1996 to 2007.
After the duo disbanded, he joined Yoshimoto Shinkigeki and gained popularity with his character Suchiko.
In 2013, he won the Utaneta King Championship 2013 with Shinya Matsuura as the unit Suchiko & Shinya.
Appointed as new troupe leader in 2014, currently serving as the longest-tenured leader, continuing to energize Yoshimoto Shinkigeki.
His comedy routine "Drill Sunnokai Sennokai (Chikubi Drill)" with Yutaka Yoshida is also popular.
