LeTAO (Otaru Confectionery, Kayseeye Co., Ltd., headquartered in Chitose, Hokkaido) is offering a new soft cream at its pop-up store at New Chitose Airport starting in April: "Crème Glacée Sweet Corn," crafted with carefully selected Hokkaido ingredients.
Sweet Corn Soft Cream Evoking Hokkaido's Landscapes
The dessert was created with the goal of capturing the natural flavor of Hokkaido's ingredients in every bite. It is made with carefully selected Hokkaido-produced milk and fresh cream, with Hokkaido-grown sweet corn — known for its rich sweetness — as the featured ingredient. Rock salt is also incorporated to accentuate the sweetness of the corn and add depth. The result is a smooth, creamy soft cream with a refined sweetness.
