Louis Vuitton's Fine Jewelry Collection "Color Blossom" Welcomes New Arrivals

This year marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of Louis Vuitton's Monogram canvas. To honor this milestone, the maison channels the creative energy of its iconic motif into the fine jewelry collection Color Blossom through a new expression. The emblematic collection celebrating the Monogram Flower gains a new stone color rarely seen in contemporary jewelry — sodalite, with its striking deep navy blue hue — alongside new pavé designs. A total of 28 new jewelry pieces further enrich the Color Blossom collection, inviting wearers to freely layer and combine pieces to express their individual style.

The Monogram, created in 1896 by Georges Vuitton as a tribute to his father, is rooted in artistic inspirations and currents of the era — Neo-Gothic ornamentation and Japonisme — embodying a cultural resonance that transcends time. An enduring icon of the maison and a universal symbol of creativity, this motif has been continuously reconstructed and reinterpreted over 130 years, inspiring countless artists and collaborators while adorning all of Louis Vuitton's creations, from leather goods to ready-to-wear.

The Color Blossom collection, introduced by the maison in 2015, features an elegant and versatile design centered around colored stones, with each stone individually sculpted in three dimensions to bring out its unique character. The current stone offerings include soft and feminine pink and white mother-of-pearl, refined classic onyx, and vibrant carnelian, malachite, and amazonite. Jewelry that fuses light-holding hues with delicate design — spanning rings, earrings, long necklaces, short necklaces, and bracelets — radiates the effortless elegance and playful refinement that define Color Blossom.

The newest stone joining the Color Blossom lineup is sodalite. Known for its beautiful, deep navy blue and a bold character with moderate opacity, sodalite features subtle inclusions that evoke a connection to elements of the natural world. Also known as the "salt stone," it is a rare presence in contemporary jewelry.

In pursuit of the highest quality and color, carefully selected sodalite is used in Color Blossom. Like other gemstones in the collection, raw stones undergo a rigorous gem-polishing process, being meticulously carved and shaped into the signature three-dimensional, bombé form. After a painstaking selection process, the stones are cut, inspected again, and then shaped — at which point the Monogram Flower is brought to life in three-dimensional form. Achieving perfect symmetry and light reflection requires an exceptionally skilled cutting and polishing process, along with the precise craftsmanship demanded by the distinct characteristics of each hard stone. The sculpting takes up to five times longer than polishing a flat stone, but the three-dimensional carving draws out the innate beauty of the gemstone material, making its beauty and depth all the more pronounced.

To mark the debut of sodalite, seven new jewelry pieces are available. The lineup includes two delicate and classic pendant necklaces featuring star and sun motifs, along with a long necklace. An eye-catching multi-motif bracelet combines a sodalite star with a pavé-set sun. More refined variations featuring the maison's signature motifs with round brilliant-cut diamonds are also part of the range. Simple star-motif earrings round out the debut collection alongside an open ring pairing a sodalite star with diamonds.

Alongside the new hard stone, pavé creations appear across the wider collection. These not only amplify brilliance and sparkle, but also open up new styling possibilities when mixed and matched with existing Color Blossom pieces. The precious pavé details arranged to luxuriously embrace the central bombé-cut stone frame the signature motif, accentuating the contrast of light and shadow while drawing out the depth and strength of the center stone. This craftsmanship demands a high level of skill from the maison's jewelry artisans, with the process of delicately polishing the gold to achieve a high luster requiring precise technique tailored to the unique angle of each surface.

The new pavé jewelry includes two refined white mother-of-pearl pendants, each featuring a star or sun motif accented with a single diamond. Two medallion-style pavé necklaces also make their debut — one featuring a sun design in white mother-of-pearl and another with a star motif in malachite.

The collection's creative spirit continues to inspire. Two new short necklaces alternating sun and star motifs are offered in either pink mother-of-pearl or malachite. An elegant long necklace combining pink and white mother-of-pearl with star and sun emblems is also part of the new arrivals.

The lineup is further enriched with new closed rings and earrings. Two high-end closed rings featuring star or sun motifs lend themselves to layering and mix-and-match styling. Four pairs of earrings with star or sun motifs appear in white mother-of-pearl or malachite. A diamond-studded star-motif ear cuff adds a trend-forward dimension to the collection.

Rounding out the new arrivals, the popular pink mother-of-pearl designs are expanded with five new pieces: a long necklace, two bracelets, and two chic, minimalist pendants.

As with the rest of the collection, the new additions — with their skillfully incorporated sense of volume — celebrate the free spirit that animates Color Blossom, enabling each wearer to style the jewelry in their own way. From the refined navy blue of sodalite to the brilliance of precious pavé, the new earrings, ear cuff, multi-motif long and short necklaces, and other contemporary additions pay tribute to the 130th anniversary of the Louis Vuitton Monogram alongside the maison's other creations.
