National Art Center, Tokyo's Masterpieces of the Renaissance From the Musée du Louvre Inspires Collaborations Across Roppongi, From Ritz-Carlton Afternoon Tea to Tokyo Midtown Dining

Masterpieces of the Renaissance from the Musée du Louvre opens on Wednesday, September 9 at the National Art Center, Tokyo, in Roppongi. Drawing on more than 50 carefully selected works, the exhibition highlights key features of Renaissance art, with particular attention on a masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci, widely regarded as the ultimate "Renaissance man": his Portrait of a Woman, known as La Belle Ferronnière, whose striking gaze makes its first appearance in Japan with this show.

Alongside the exhibition, a series of collaborations lets visitors enjoy the Renaissance beyond the museum's galleries, both before and after a visit.
