Atelier Ukai (アトリエうかい), the pastry shop operated by Ukai Co., Ltd. — a restaurant group based in Hachioji, Tokyo, with locations primarily in Tokyo and Kanagawa — will be selling a limited edition cookie tin at the special shop for the "Louvre Museum Exhibition: Renaissance" (ルーヴル美術館展 ルネサンス) at the National Art Center Tokyo (国立新美術館). The product will be available from September 9 (Wednesday) to December 13 (Sunday), 2026.
The exhibition has drawn considerable attention for marking the Japan debut of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece "Portrait of a Lady" (《女性の肖像》), also known as "La Belle Ferronnière" (《美しきフェロニエール》).

Limited Product for the Exhibition
The limited edition product was inspired by the precision and detail of Leonardo da Vinci's paintings and the richness of color embodied by the women he depicted. The cookie tin brings together delicate, beautifully crafted confections designed to complement the lingering impression of viewing the artworks — and to make a thoughtful gift for someone special.

About the Exhibition
Only around 15 paintings by Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) are believed to survive today. The Louvre Museum holds five of them, including the "Mona Lisa," which visited Japan back in 1974. 52 years later, a new da Vinci masterpiece is coming to Japan: "Portrait of a Lady," widely known as "La Belle Ferronnière." It marks the work's first-ever Japan exhibition. The display will illuminate the background behind the painting's creation and its distinctive artistic qualities, drawing on the latest research.
