The 19th-floor restaurant Bistro Bourgogne at Mercure Yokosuka (3-27 Honcho, Yokosuka City, Kanagawa) is running a special Pride Month initiative throughout June 2026, themed "My Color, My Choice – Choose your color, be yourself." A series of limited-edition rainbow cocktails will be available from June 1 (Monday) through June 30 (Tuesday).
The hotel operates under the concept of "DISCOVER LOCAL," emphasizing respect for the culture and diversity of the local community. This initiative is part of the hotel's efforts to celebrate LGBTQIA+ diversity and raise awareness during Pride Month, an internationally recognized period held each June.
An Interactive, Photogenic Experience
This year's rainbow cocktail is designed to be a hands-on creation. Guests receive a glass filled with fruit that matches a chosen color, then sparkling wine (or a non-alcoholic drink) is poured tableside. Finally, guests add their own choice of colored syrup to complete the drink themselves.
Five syrup colors are available to choose from:
- Red: Hibiscus
- Yellow: Mango
- Purple: Butterfly Pea
- Green: Green Apple
- Blue: Blue Curacao
Which color to choose, and when to pour it in – every decision is an expression of personal style. The vivid, colorful result is also highly photogenic. A non-alcoholic mocktail version is available, making this suitable for guests of all ages, including those visiting with children.
