Mercure Yokosuka's "Summer Gourmet Fair 2026 ~Sunset in Hawaii~" Features All-You-Can-Eat & Drink Buffet with KING'S HAWAIIAN Certified Sliders

Mercure Yokosuka (3-27 Honcho, Yokosuka, Kanagawa; General Manager: Naoto Yoshizumi), a bayview hotel with the concept "The starting line for Miura Peninsula adventures — a Yokosuka experience like no other," will host the "Summer Gourmet Fair 2026 Sunset in Hawaii" at the 20th floor special venue "Sky Banquet" from Thursday, July 16 to Saturday, August 29, 2026.

This event is a limited-time dinner event held as part of the hotel-wide "ALOHA! Hawaii Fair 2026," which runs from July 1. In collaboration with KING'S HAWAIIAN — a sweet roll brand founded in Hilo, Hawaii in 1950 and beloved across the United States for decades — certified sliders and original Hawaiian sweet rolls will be offered as part of the buffet.

A buffet and all-you-can-drink selection inspired by the beautiful Hawaiian sunset are on offer, paired with a setting evoking the glow of dusk in Hawaii, creating a resort atmosphere that feels like traveling to the islands. At the 20th floor "Sky Banquet" overlooking Tokyo Bay, guests can enjoy the sweeping view of Yokosuka Port at dusk — a one-of-a-kind summer experience where the bayview scenery of Yokosuka and the allure of Hawaii come together.

Guests attending the event are also invited to participate in the "No-Miss! ALOHA Prize Lottery," with chances to win KING'S HAWAIIAN official merchandise and complimentary stays at Mercure Yokosuka.

The highlight of the event is the "Mercure Yokosuka Original Tropical Char Siu Slider" — a buffet item made with KING'S HAWAIIAN's original Hawaiian sweet rolls. The original recipe, created by the hotel's chef, has received official recognition from KING'S HAWAIIAN. Juicy BBQ-style char siu is paired with fragrant grilled pineapple, bringing together sweetness and umami in perfect harmony. This limited-time collaboration menu is available in unlimited quantities at the buffet.

Hawaiian Food & Tropical Cocktails, All You Can Eat and Drink — Inspired by a Hawaiian Sunset

Hawaiian buffet spread

The buffet takes the rich food culture of Hawaii as its theme, with a diverse lineup of dishes evoking the bounty of the tropics.

The salad corner features hearts of palm and tomato salad, Spam and pineapple salad, chicken, mango, and multigrain salad, pasta salad, and more — centered on fresh vegetables from the Miura Peninsula and bursting with color. Also on offer are lomi lomi salmon and seafood lomi lomi, local Hawaiian favorites, for a taste of the tropics.

Hot dishes include garlic shrimp, mochiko chicken, huli huli chicken, and other popular Hawaiian local foods, along with seafood dishes covering a broad range of Hawaii's food culture.

Kalua pork dish

A particular highlight is the Hawaiian traditional dish "Kalua Pork." The hotel's chef faithfully recreates an authentic recipe handed down from a Hawaii-born chef, delivering the tender, fall-off-the-bone texture and deep umami that only slow cooking can produce.

The event theme "Sunset in Hawaii" also inspired three original tropical cocktails and three mocktails, all included in the all-you-can-drink selection. Their vivid sunset-inspired hues and refreshing flavors set the mood for a Hawaiian resort evening.

Dessert corner

The dessert corner features tropical fruit sweets and specially crafted patisserie creations, all available in unlimited quantities. A "KING'S HAWAIIAN STATION" is also set up in the buffet area so guests can enjoy the sweet rolls freely, bringing the flavors of Hawaiian food culture closer than ever.
