MINIMAL WORKS Releases 3 New Tent Models, Including Its First Air Frame Tent
MINIMAL WORKS, a brand known for innovative tents and furniture and represented in Japan by UNBY Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Daichi Fujimatsu), is releasing three new tents, including its first-ever model built around an air frame structure.
SHELTER GM: A New Dimension in Air Shelters
This new tent scales up the SHELTER G by switching its duralumin poles for an air frame, marking a new direction for MINIMAL WORKS. The air frame sections use a double-layer construction designed to eliminate durability concerns, and a built-in pump lets the tent set itself up automatically at the push of a button, making it approachable even for newcomers. It carries on the DNA of the SHELTER G, the brand's signature shelter, while combining it with next-generation technology to create a large air-frame shelter.

One-Push Setup in 10 to 15 Minutes: The Innovative One-Click Auto System
The SHELTER GM AIR does away with the hassle of manually pumping up a large tent by building the pump right in. Press the button once, and the tent senses the ideal air pressure (7 to 8 psi) needed to stand itself up, then stops automatically once setup is complete. Along with a safety design that prevents damage from over-inflation, the pump is fitted with a cover that keeps it quiet and protects it from outside impact.

Built Tough: The Muscle TPU Air Frame That Handles Harsh Conditions
The air frame that forms the tent's skeleton uses a double-layer inner tube built with MINIMAL WORKS' own technology. Despite a rugged 15.6kg body, it achieves outstanding rigidity and stability. Every frame clears thorough factory inspections, including more than 48 hours of air-retention and leak checks along with tensile strength tests on the joints, guaranteeing a high standard of quality.

A Monster 400cm of Space for Groups and Families to Relax
At 400 x 400 x 210(h) cm, the SHELTER GM offers a huge amount of room. It's designed with an open feel and plenty of usable space, so groups can freely enjoy a variety of furniture layouts. Two wide mesh doors come standard at the front and back for extra openness, and optional vestibules and TPU doors can be zipped on for further expansion suited to the weather or your style.

VESTIBULE Inner Tent

TPU DOOR
One hallmark of the SHELTER G series is its wide range of options, and this new model brings an even more powerful lineup. There's the PORCH, which expands the living space, and the VESTIBULE, a familiar option that extends the front room. A new inner tent that hangs from the VESTIBULE has also joined the lineup. The TPU DOOR, one of the series' most iconic options, lets you enjoy the view outside even with the door closed.
Introducing the SHELTER G AIR: An Ultralight Dome Shelter That Redefines UL Backpacking
The SHELTER G AIR carries forward the livability and design of the brand's signature SHELTER G while elevating it into an ultralight (UL) model. Since 2024, it has gone through repeated field testing across a wide range of terrain and extreme weather conditions to strike a well-rounded balance between light weight, structural stability, and real-world reliability.

Light as Air: Just 2.1kg Total, Thanks to Carbon Poles That Balance Weight and Strength
The tent achieves a remarkably light 1,230g for the body and 870g for the pole set. The frame uses top-grade carbon poles that are both lightweight and highly rigid, and combined with the double-cross dome structure, they hold up well in strong wind and bad weather.

A Compact Packed Size That Fits in a Backpack's Side Pocket
Packed down, it measures just 43 x 12 x 5(H) cm, a minimal design that tucks neatly into a backpack's side pocket and significantly lightens the load when on the move. Even with the reduced weight, it still has the comforts that make camping enjoyable: four ventilation points inside the tent to keep air circulating and cut down on condensation, plus a mesh pocket at the ceiling for storing small items.

Dedicated Option Doors That Can Be Customized to the Conditions

TPU DOOR

MESH DOOR
Door options are one of the trademarks of MINIMAL WORKS, and the SHELTER G AIR gets them too: the TPU DOOR blocks rain, wind, and cold air while still letting you take in the view outside, and the MESH DOOR keeps insects out while maintaining comfortable ventilation. An optional dedicated ground sheet with a 10cm-tall bathtub-style construction is also available, thoroughly blocking cold air, rain, and moisture from the ground.
SUPERPOSITION MGX-600: The Ultimate Shelter Combining a Large A-Frame Design With Air Technology
Conventional A-frame tents have long faced the issue of dead space created by their sloped walls. This model resolves that with a unique frame line and the durable Muscle TPU Air Frame, and it also adds a one-click automatic pump system that eliminates manual pumping entirely. It's built to give group and family campers an overwhelming sense of openness along with a setup experience free of the usual hassle.

A Sturdy, No-Frills Air Frame: The Muscle TPU Air Frame
Like the SHELTER GM, this model uses an air frame made of high-quality TPU material with excellent recovery and tensile strength. Before shipping, it clears more than 48 hours of full-unit pressure and durability testing, delivering high stability even in bad weather or strong wind. Setup only requires pressing the button on the smart automatic pump connected to the main body; it senses the appropriate air pressure (7 to 8 psi) and stops automatically, a safety design that fully automates what used to be a demanding setup process so you can relax as soon as you arrive.

The Signature S-Line Mesh and All-Weather Specs
The popular TPU DOOR option, also available on the SUPERPOSITION MGX-600, lets you enjoy the view outside even during sudden bad weather while keeping the interior comfortable and pleasant.
