Moco Lima Hawaii, a Hawaii-born handmade apparel brand, is holding a popup at the 5th floor Space #5 of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from June 17 (Wednesday) to June 23 (Tuesday), 2026. This marks the first time a Hawaii brand has held a solo popup at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, bringing together vibrant bags, skirts, and apparel inspired by Hawaiian nature, alongside the exclusive "Nihonbashi Tote."
The brand's concept is "a bag shop floating on the sea." Every piece is born from an atelier overlooking the waters of Hawaii, where owner and designer MOCO captures the nature, light, wind, flowers, ocean, and the gentle rhythms of daily life in Hawaii.
MOCO draws each original design from landscapes that have personally moved her — the colors of the Hawaiian sky, the vivid hues of fish swimming among coral reefs, flowers swaying in the breeze, and the gradients of a sunset. From these original designs, she creates her own custom fabric and turns it into bags, pouches, T-shirts, pants, and accessories that bring a little Hawaiian brightness and color into everyday life.
Because the pattern placement and fabric texture differ for each individual piece, no two items are exactly alike — a hallmark of Moco Lima Hawaii's charm.
