"My Happy Marriage," a novel series by Akumi Agitogi with illustrations by Tsukiho Tsukioka, has been published since 2019 and has surpassed 9 million copies in circulation (as of January 2026, including manga and digital versions), becoming beloved across various media.
The manga adaptation (illustrated by Rito Kosaka) won first place in "Osusume Comic 2021 Chosen by Bookstore Staff Nationwide" and dominated numerous rankings. The live-action film (directed by Ayuko Tsukahara) starring today's most popular actors became a box office hit, grossing over 2.8 billion yen. The stage version (written and directed by Kaori Miura), featuring spectacular action and an original story focused on special forces, received widespread acclaim. The TV anime, which aired from July to September 2023, generated tremendous enthusiasm with its colorful and beautiful visuals, dramatic music, and powerful performances by talented voice actors, gaining high praise both domestically and internationally, solidifying the popularity of "Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon."
