Nagahama Roman Beer Co., Ltd., based in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, operates Nagahama Distillery, one of Japan's smallest whisky distilleries. A collaboration between the distillery and LOST, a bar in Shibuya, Tokyo, has produced a limited single malt Japanese whisky called "ENRO," going on sale from Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
LOST is a Shibuya bar where all kinds of people cross paths and settle into an easy, comfortable time over a drink. Nagahama Distillery, meanwhile, keeps crafting its own style of whisky in step with the character of Lake Biwa, as one of Japan's smallest craft distilleries. LOST's philosophy of welcoming a wide mix of guests resonated with Nagahama Distillery's "one brew, one barrel" spirit, and together the two produced "ENRO," a whisky meant to connect people through a single glass.

Underneath, a mizunara-cask character reminiscent of kyara agarwood and noble incense wood surfaces, hinting at a deep, multilayered finish.
Taste
On the palate, it melts smoothly into the senses with a flowing, easy drinkability. A substantial, well-defined body carries a rounded, smooth attack, opening into a three-dimensional spread of dense fruit sweetness and deep malt richness. Toward the back, spicy, oriental notes from the mizunara cask rise quietly, layering a pleasant bitterness with refined woody notes, leading into a long, calm finish set apart from everyday noise.
