Nagasakibana Beach Resort Opens a Beach Cafe for the Nagasakibana Summer Festival Fireworks

In Bungotakada City, Oita Prefecture, the glamping accommodation facility Nagasakibana Beach Resort (operated by FoundingBase Co., Ltd., headquartered in Setagaya, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kenji Yamamoto) is opening a BEACH CAFE at the venue to coincide with the Nagasakibana Summer Festival on July 19.

About the Nagasakibana Summer Festival

Held every year to coincide with Marine Day on July 20, the Nagasakibana Summer Festival returns this year on Sunday, July 19.

About 3,000 people attend the festival each year, and around 600 fireworks launched from Nagasakibana Beach light up Bungotakada's summer night sky.

This year's festival also features the beach seine net fishing experience that was a hit last year, a prize drawing, and a powerful performance by the Bungo Misaki Taiko drummers.

BEACH CAFE Opens on Festival Day

Adjacent to Nagasakibana Beach, Nagasakibana Beach Resort offers experiences built around a "day spent with the sea" concept, making the most of the local coastline.

As a way to enjoy the Nagasakibana Summer Festival, the resort is opening a BEACH CAFE.

Alongside chilled Bungotakada soba, the cafe will serve specialty coffee cold brew and draft beer, plus a prize lottery.
