JR Nagoya Station's Platform 1 is getting a flavorful addition this spring. A limited-time noodle stall, Men-Yatai Taiwan Gono-gami Seisakusho (麺屋台 台湾五之神製作所), will open on the platform from March 12 to June 21, 2026, running for 102 days.
This is the 7th installment of the JR Nagoya Station Platform 1 Project, which has been utilizing the unused track space on Platform 1 for various dining and event concepts since 2023, including beer gardens, ramen restaurants, and shaved ice events.
Overview
Name: Men-Yatai Taiwan Gono-gami Seisakusho (麺屋台 台湾五之神製作所)
Location: JR Nagoya Station Platform 1
Duration: March 12 (Thu) to June 21 (Sun), 2026 — 102 days
Hours: 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM (last order 9:00 PM)

The concept draws inspiration from a shrimp tsukemen restaurant that has been selected as one of Tabelog's "Ramen TOKYO Top 100 Restaurants." The stall reimagines that restaurant's Taiwan-based concept for Platform 1 at JR Nagoya Station. Inspired by Taiwanese night markets, the catchphrase is "Home Night Market" (ホーム夜市). With the concept of "transforming travel time into the margins of a journey," the stall brings the atmosphere of a night market to the everyday setting of a train platform.
Menu
Ebi Tanjimen (海老担仔麺) — ¥780
A bowl of tantanmen-style noodles featuring a soup that draws out the full umami of shrimp, topped with a seasoned minced pork filling infused with shrimp flavor and Taiwanese spices.

Motsu Sara Taiwan (もつ皿台湾) — ¥780
A fusion of Taiwan and Nagoya: inspired by Nagoya's sara-taiwan dish, this bowl features spicy minced meat and crunchy bean sprouts tangled with noodles, with an accent of ginger-seasoned braised offal in the Taiwanese street food style.
Mayoji Banmen (麻油鶏板麺) — ¥780
A mixed noodle dish (mazesoba) with shrimp and Taiwanese spice aromas, served alongside a ginger-accented chicken broth soup. Enjoy them separately, or dip the noodles into the soup tsukemen-style.
Side Dishes

Set Lurou Fan (セット魯肉飯) — ¥200 (set only; not available à la carte)
Authentic braised pork rice with melt-in-your-mouth pork soaked in a sweet-savory Taiwanese spice sauce.
Taiwanese Motsu Ni (台湾もつ煮) — ¥380

A Taiwanese street stall classic — tender offal braised with ginger.
Dazipai (ダージーパイ) — ¥780

Crispy battered chicken with juicy meat — an authentic-style large Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet.
Old-Style Water Dumplings (昔水餃子) — ¥380

Handmade dumplings with chewy wrappers and juicy filling, bursting with the rich umami of pork.
Noodle Craftsmanship
The soup is crafted to maximize the umami of shrimp, layered with vegetables and aromatic ingredients for a complex, deep flavor that goes well beyond a simple shrimp taste. The noodles are carefully selected for their thickness, elasticity, and smooth texture to best complement the soup. The stall focuses on making the most of each ingredient's natural flavor in pursuit of dishes that customers will enjoy.
About the Venue
The stall makes use of the unused track space and platform storefronts on JR Nagoya Station's Platform 1, creating a one-of-a-kind dining environment. The seating area spans approximately 300 m², measuring about 3.6 m wide by 80 m long, set directly on the tracks.
