The Italian-themed buffet series has been one of the most popular offerings at Hilton Nagoya. This spring, the focus is on Southern Italy, presenting diverse dishes nurtured by the beautiful sea and sky, warm climate, and rich history and culture, with authentic flavors utilizing herbs and citrus fruits.
The menu includes traditional Sicilian dishes such as "Sicilian Pork Cotoletta," "Sardine Beccafico - Sicilian-style Breadcrumb Bake," and "Mussels and Orange Agrodolce," featuring refreshing flavors with lemon and orange. Additionally, guests can enjoy local specialties rich in seafood and tomatoes, such as "Neapolitan Zuppa di Pesce," "Ciambotta - Southern Italian Colorful Vegetable Tomato Stew," and "Insalata di Riso," offering an experience reminiscent of traveling through Southern Italy.
Pasta and pizza options include regionally distinctive dishes like "Broccoli Orecchiette Puglia Style" and "Pizza Bianchetti," offered on a rotating daily basis.
The dessert corner features popular strawberry sweets including "Strawberry Shortcake" and "Sparkling Strawberry Tart," with a live station offering "Freshly Squeezed Strawberry Mont Blanc." Guests can also enjoy "Strawberry Cannoli," a traditional Sicilian pastry filled with strawberry cream.

Hilton Nagoya Executive Sous Chef Hiroaki Sasaki Profile

Born in Akita Prefecture in 1971. Started his culinary career at Hotel Takanawa in Tokyo's Minato Ward, then gained experience at Hotel Nikko Tokyo (now Hilton Tokyo Odaiba). Subsequently served as Head Chef of the all-day dining "Ocean Dining" and Banquet Executive Chef at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba. Joined Hilton Nagoya as Executive Sous Chef in April 2019. Currently oversees menu development and overall culinary operations for all-day dining "InPlace 3-3," "Cafe 3-3," Japanese restaurant "Genji," and Chinese restaurant "Ocho," working to improve quality and create new dining experiences at each restaurant.
