Summer means river play! For easy water fun, head to the Atsubetsu River; for a deeper nature experience, the Forest Classroom or Riverside Plaza is recommended. The expansive park grounds offer a variety of spots to enjoy the water depending on how you want to play.

Cool Spots

Experience coolness with all five senses — the sound and spray of natural waterfalls such as アシリベツの滝 and Masumi Falls, the dappled light filtering through the trees, and the calls of insects. Takino's abundant nature offers a truly refreshing escape from the summer heat.

Water Play Events

A free-play water park will be held at the park. Water guns and other toys are available for free rental, so children and adults alike can enjoy a full day of play.
