OND SAUNA (located in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture; operated by Asahi I&R Retreat Co., Ltd.; President: Tatsuhiko Nobata) has introduced a whiskering service. This initiative was realized through a partnership with Shirakaba Sports, which works to promote whiskering and develop human resources in the field.
Prior to this, on November 23, 2025, a collaboration event was held to commemorate the launch of the whiskering service, attracting many sauna enthusiasts from across Kyushu.

A Perfect Addition to a "Sauna in Harmony with the Forest"
OND SAUNA is an outdoor sauna facility that opened in September 2024.
With the concept of "connection with the forest," it was designed and operated to minimize forest clearing and harmonize with the natural environment. It has been providing an experience where the mind and body can relax, creating a space where anyone, regardless of gender, generation, or nationality, can spend time naturally.
From the time of opening, the operating members had a vision of "providing whiskering at this location." All members who actually experienced whiskering were convinced that it had extremely high compatibility with OND SAUNA's worldview.
With this aspiration, they consulted with Shirakaba Sports about introducing the service. Through the process of aligning their philosophies and vision for the experience, they confirmed that both parties shared the same goals for whiskering. They proceeded with preparations for approximately one year, from program design to human resource development.
OND SAUNA's Original Whiskering Grows with the Region
At the start of the service, they will offer a basic whiskering program.
In the future, they have plans to evolve it into OND SAUNA's original program that incorporates seasonal changes, as well as plants, scents, and culture unique to the Takeo area.
On the premises, they are planning to plant berries and herbs, as well as oak trees, with the goal of eventually realizing a "locally produced and consumed" whiskering experience.
Launch Event Featured Magu Mampei
At the launch commemorative event held on November 23, 2025, in addition to whiskering by OND SAUNA's operating members, solo whiskering by Toshiki, affiliated with Shirakaba Sports, group whiskering by Magu Mampei and Ohnishi, and talk shows were conducted.
It became a day symbolizing Kyushu's sauna culture.

OND SAUNA is an outdoor sauna facility located within OND PARK in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, based on the concept of liberation and harmony. The space design that integrates with nature, a natural water cold bath, and other features allow the nature of Takeo to stimulate visitors' five senses throughout the four seasons, providing a special experience that cannot be obtained at urban saunas, which has been highly praised and supported by sauna fans.
In particular, the wooden sauna uses a large wood-burning stove, which is rare in Japan, as its heat source.
