Park Hotel Tokyo Presents Autumn Exhibition "Heart-Stirring Art for a Bountiful Autumn"

Park Hotel Tokyo, a hotel in Shiodome, Minato-ku, Tokyo, known for proposing a stay filled with art as a "hotel you can stay in like a museum," is holding an autumn exhibition, "Heart-Stirring Art for a Bountiful Autumn," as part of its seasonal ART colours series. The exhibition runs in the Atrium on the hotel's 25th floor from Monday, August 24 through Sunday, November 15, 2026. Admission is free, and the exhibition is open to everyone, not only staying guests.

For the 2026 summer-to-autumn ART colours exhibition, Ginza Galleries serves as curator for a third time. A voluntary organization formed by around 40 galleries in Ginza — known as Japan's largest gallery district — Ginza Galleries has brought together paintings, sculpture and mixed media gathered from 15 galleries across the summer and autumn presentations.

Following on from the summer exhibition's theme of kehai, a sense of an unseen presence, the autumn exhibition turns to what lies beyond it: the real, tangible form itself. Through works that carry charm and humor, and at times a sharper edge, the exhibition draws visitors closer to the feelings and messages each artist has placed within their work.

An Artist Who Also Designed a Guest Room at the Hotel

Among the exhibiting artists are U-ku, who creates work around the theme of "involuntariness and decision"; Takuma Shiratani, known for three-dimensional pieces inspired by origami; and Takashi Seto, who develops the techniques of yuzen dyeing into contemporary expression. Takeshi Sato — who created Park Hotel Tokyo's Artist Room "Midnight Tokyo," where the guest room itself becomes a work of art — is also among the exhibitors, offering a chance to notice the connections between the exhibited works and the art found throughout the hotel.

Waiting for the elevator, immersed in art.

A close look at color, form and material brings out the intentions and messages behind each work. Visitors can enjoy pieces from a wide range of artists gathered from the many galleries that make up Ginza Galleries, in a space that lets them experience Japanese aesthetics alongside contemporary art — a setting unique to Park Hotel Tokyo. An encounter with individually varied works, reminiscent of autumn's harvest, awaits.
