Piyorin, the beloved chick-shaped fresh dessert from Nagoya, is venturing outside Aichi Prefecture for a rare pop-up event. As part of its 15th anniversary celebrations, the treat will appear at PLUSTA Gift Iseshi — a shop inside JR Ise-shi Station that is set to reopen on Saturday, March 28, 2026 — for two days only: April 4 (Sat) and April 5 (Sun), 2026.
A Limited-Edition Flavor Inspired by Local Tea
For this Mie debut, a special "Ise-cha Piyorin" has been created. The dessert layers a rich pudding made with Nagoya Cochin eggs together with fragrant Ise-cha (Ise green tea) jelly, all wrapped in a smooth Ise-cha Bavarian cream. The result is a flavor that brings together the distinctive umami and gentle bitterness of locally grown tea with the classic Piyorin pudding base.

The "Ise-cha Piyorin Outing Set" bundles one classic Piyorin together with one Ise-cha Piyorin for ¥1,200 (tax included).

About Piyorin
Piyorin is a fresh sweet made from pudding using eggs of the Nagoya Cochin, a local Aichi breed, encased in vanilla-scented Bavarian cream and dusted with crumbled sponge to form the shape of a small chick. It is normally sold only at stores inside Nagoya Station and at a production workshop shop in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture.
Piyorin turns 15 years old on July 1, 2026. A new store, "Piyorin Village," is also planned to open at the Nagoya Station Central Concourse in June 2026.
