From Wednesday, October 28 to Monday, November 30, 2026, plus KAMERIYA (プリュス カメリヤ), a Yamaguchi-based patisserie brand, will open a limited-time pop-up shop at GINZA SIX in Tokyo. The lineup goes beyond sweets to include items that color everyday tea time: autumn sweets such as the Japanese Chestnut and Japanese Black Tea Gâteau Roulé (和栗と和紅茶のガトールレ) and the Japanese Chestnut and Koji Butter Cake (和栗と麹のバターケイク), original blended tea leaves, and tea utensils by makers in Yamaguchi.
What plus KAMERIYA Wants to Deliver
plus KAMERIYA treasures the time spent choosing tea leaves while thinking of someone. It also treasures the time spent choosing sweets and tea utensils and enjoying the setting, and the time spent opening up what has been prepared and savoring it.
Starting from a single sweet or tea leaf, the brand thinks about the time that unfolds beyond it. Through each sweet, tea leaf, and tea utensil, it aims to color someone's precious tea time, and to deliver that time itself.
Autumn Flavors Wrapped in a Roll Cake

The seasonal sweet at this pop-up is the Japanese Chestnut and Japanese Black Tea Gâteau Roulé. A genoise made with local flour, kudzu, and koji mirin is combined with Chantilly cream produced in Kyushu. Japanese chestnuts from Kumamoto Prefecture are then wrapped in a custard mousse made with eggs from Akikawa Bokuen (秋川牧園) and Japanese black tea from Yame, simmered into the custard.
The rich aroma of the Japanese black tea spreads through the moist batter. The lightness of the Chantilly, the full flavor of the chestnuts, and the custard mousse made from fine ingredients layer together into a rich harmony. The flavor, which could only be born in this place and in this season, is shaped into a seasonal roll cake.
Black Sesame Fresh Dacquoise

The Black Sesame Fresh Dacquoise (黒胡麻の生ダックワーズ) has a dacquoise batter baked with almonds and eggs from Akikawa Bokuen, filled with black sesame praline and fresh fermented butter.
Although it is a baked sweet, it has the smoothness and aroma of a fresh confection, and it melts in the mouth. It is meant to be enjoyed slowly with a favorite tea.
Tea as a Way to Connect Hearts

Since long ago, people have loved tea as a way to connect hearts with others. Although it is a simple drink of tea leaves and water, it seems to carry meaning beyond that. At plus KAMERIYA too, tea is treated as an important way to connect hearts, and the shop carefully selects tea leaves filled with the makers' thoughts.
One example is the original Wild Herb Tea Blend Series (野草茶ブレンドシリーズ). It is based on mugwort, persimmon leaves, and dokudami (houttuynia) gathered in Yamaguchi's satoyama (rural woodland near villages), and blended with lemongrass, lemon verbena, roses, and elderflower. Besides the taste of the tea itself, one of its appeals is that the aroma and lingering aftertaste can be enjoyed together with sweets.
Tea Utensils Shaped by Yamaguchi's Climate and Its Makers
To enrich tea time, plus KAMERIYA also proposes tea utensils.

The utensils come from makers who are rooted in Yamaguchi and keep making things there. Using the character and qualities of materials such as clay and wood, each piece is created one at a time with the maker's own skill and sensibility. The shop does not choose tea utensils simply for being beautiful. It also looks at the feel in the hand, the look of the utensil when tea is poured, how comfortable it is to use as an everyday tool, and the conviction the maker has put into it.

The shop believes that works woven from the land's materials and the makers' convictions carry forms and stories that could only be born in that place. Sometimes meeting a single piece of tea ware changes not only the taste of the tea but the tea time itself. Through these utensils, sweets and tea blend into a single scene, and a rich tea time takes shape.
Conveying the Appeal of a Place Through One Tea Time
Yamaguchi, where plus KAMERIYA is based, has abundant nature and people who put down roots in the land and keep making things. The sweets use ingredients from Yamaguchi Prefecture and nearby prefectures, and the tea leaves are chosen for taking on new approaches to tea making that draw on the local climate. Alongside them are handmade tea utensils connected to the land, mainly by Yamaguchi makers.
Ingredients and handwork, the blessings and labor of this land, melt together in a single tea time. Rather than introducing the land's ingredients as they are, plus KAMERIYA reshapes them into new forms with the skill and sensibility it has built up as a patisserie, and delivers them as a single "tea time."
The pop-up at GINZA SIX is a chance to hold that tea time in your hands. The shop hopes it will prompt visitors to think again about what makes the land rich, what its blessings are, and what culture has taken root and grown there, through a moment of enjoying tea. "From Yamaguchi to Tokyo": through one tea time, it will deliver the appeal of this land and the new time that comes from it.
