The second triple collaboration between adidas Originals, atmos, and King Gnu / MILLENNIUM PARADE's Daiki Tsuneta is arriving. The new model, "SUPERSTAR II atmos DAIKI TSUNETA POINTLESS JOURNEY," follows the first edition that sold out immediately upon its November 2022 release.
A Blend of Three Creative Forces
The SUPERSTAR has evolved over more than half a century beyond sports, crossing into music, street, and fashion culture. This release builds on adidas Originals' iconic silhouette, bringing together Daiki Tsuneta's artistic vision and atmos's editorial sensibility. The result is a sneaker where classic aesthetics and innovation coexist.
The project centers on "POINTLESS JOURNEY" — a creative label led by Daiki Tsuneta spanning music, art, and fashion. adidas Originals' craftsmanship and atmos's streetwear perspective round out this three-way collaboration where each party's identity comes through in the finished product.

The shoe comes in two colorways: the deep DGH SOLID GREY and the sharp, urban CLEAR ONIX. Both bring a distinct presence to any outfit while working across a wide range of styles.
The upper is wrapped in premium suede throughout — including the iconic shell toe — giving the SUPERSTAR's classic silhouette a new texture and depth.
Daiki Tsuneta's aesthetic is reflected in the details throughout. The tongue lining features an embroidered signature, and two removable long shoe tongues are included — one in a matching color, and another with a contrasting accent at the heel — allowing wearers to adapt the look to their own preference. The side branding replaces the standard "SUPERSTAR" text with a "POINTLESS JOURNEY" inscription. Each pair also comes with two sets of laces and two customizable metal shoe tongue graphic pins, making this a sneaker designed to be personally finished by whoever wears it.
King Gnu is currently on the "King Gnu CEN+RAL Tour 2026," covering a record number of cities and performances. Promotional footage for the collaboration will be displayed on venue signage at the Chiba LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY shows on April 14 (Tuesday) and April 15 (Wednesday), 2026.
