Randy's Donuts, the beloved Los Angeles donut shop that first opened in Japan in May 2025, is celebrating its one-year anniversary with the return of two Japan-exclusive limited edition items. To mark the milestone on May 15, 2026, the two products that proved especially popular at launch will be available at all Japanese locations for a limited time.
The STRAWBERRY CHOCOLATE TEXAS goes on sale from Thursday, April 23, 2026, and will be available through late May. The LA BLUE CUSTARD CREAM RAISED is available for one week only — Monday, May 11 through Sunday, May 17, 2026. Both are priced at ¥580 (tax included).

STRAWBERRY CHOCOLATE TEXAS — ¥580 (tax included)

The TEXAS donut — the largest size in the lineup at roughly 16 cm in diameter (about 1.5 times the standard size) — is inspired by the vast state of Texas. This version is coated in sweet-tart strawberry chocolate and topped generously with colorful freeze-dried strawberries.
LA BLUE CUSTARD CREAM RAISED — ¥580 (tax included)
Available: May 11, 2026 (Monday) through May 17, 2026 (Sunday)
This round yeast donut is iced in vivid blue, inspired by the bright skies of Los Angeles, with "LA" written in white icing on top. It is filled with a generous amount of lightly sweet custard cream.

About Randy's Donuts
Randy's Donuts was founded in 1952 in Los Angeles, where it now operates 27 locations centered in the LA area. In recent years the brand has expanded internationally, with stores in South Korea, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico (as of April 13, 2026).
The brand is especially known for the giant donut-shaped sign atop its original US location — roughly 10 meters (32 feet) in diameter — which has appeared in popular films and music videos and become an iconic Los Angeles landmark. Every donut is made fresh daily using a proprietary original donut mix, with recipes passed down virtually unchanged since the founding.
