Rembrandt Resort Shiretoko, the first property under the newly established "Rembrandt Resort" (REMBRANDT RESORT) brand, opened in Utoro, Shari Town, Shari District, Hokkaido on May 1, 2026 (Friday). The resort is operated by Rembrandt Hotel Sapporo Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture).
Launch of the Rembrandt Resort Brand
The Rembrandt Hotel Group, which operates 20 hotel facilities across Japan and abroad, has established "Rembrandt Resort" as a new brand dedicated to resort destinations. Distinct from conventional city and business hotels, the brand focuses exclusively on resort areas, aiming to leverage local nature, hot springs, cuisine, and activities to create "resort time where the stay itself becomes the value" and "adult leisure time."

Brand Concept
Rembrandt Resort is a "stay-based leisure" brand specialized for resort areas. Through experiences that make the most of each region's unique resources — nature, hot springs, food, and activities — the brand aims to create resort stays where the experience itself is the value, delivering a sense of mental space and enriching time to guests. The brand plans to expand to other attractive resort destinations across Japan going forward.
Rembrandt Resort Shiretoko Concept
With the concept "Adult leisure time fulfilled in Shiretoko," the resort offers special moments where the overwhelming scale of nature and tranquility resonate together.
From the panoramic open-air hot spring bath on the top floor overlooking the Sea of Okhotsk, to a buffet focused on locally sourced ingredients, to the all-inclusive style allowing guests to relax at their own pace — the resort is designed for adults seeking genuine rest away from the pressures of daily life.
