Reoma Resort in Marugame, Kagawa Prefecture, is packing in summer-only fun this year, from an all-weather indoor pool to a wrap-up weekend of drones and fireworks lighting up the night sky. Here's a look at what's on offer this summer.
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Reoma no Mori: Indoor Heated Pool
At Hotel Reoma no Mori, the all-weather, resort-style indoor heated pool is open every day throughout August, rain or shine.

Reoma Waterland at NEW Reoma World
Spread across roughly 6,000 square meters, Reoma Waterland is a pool complex packing in a 260-meter lazy river — the longest in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions — along with an adventure pool and a bucket splash zone that are each the only ones of their kind in Shikoku, an aqua deck and kids' pool full of play equipment, a wave pool, and three hugely popular water slides. A hula girl show also takes to the stage (running through Sunday, August 30, except from Monday, August 24 to Friday, August 28), adding to the entertainment on offer.
The ever-popular 60-meter "super-long inflatable slide" (¥600 per day) makes a limited-time return, available only through Monday, August 31.

Reoma Drone Show 2026
To close out the summer, 300 drones will light up the night sky above Reoma with an original animated display. Visitors can enjoy the pool and other attractions before the show begins, making it a fitting way for family and friends to wrap up the summer break at NEW Reoma World.

Marugame Basara Fireworks Fantasia in Reoma
A summer favorite returns with the Marugame Basara Fireworks Fantasia in Reoma, a display of roughly 3,200 fireworks set to music. It falls on the same day as the Drone Show, making for a big finish to the summer break with family and friends.

Admission
- Marugame City residents: Free entry from 10:00 AM (limited to August 29, 2026). Visitors age 3 and up must show proof of Marugame residency at entry (for example, a driver's license or MyNumber card); one free entry per proof of ID. Marugame residents can also upgrade to the on-site Happy Pass (free pass plus pool) for ¥2,300 by showing proof of residency. The first 200 elementary-school-age or younger children who are Marugame residents can also try a free lottery draw.
