HAKU by SWAG — the art and installation project of the creative team SWAG at Shin Unity Co., Ltd. — is currently presenting the exhibition "Resonance" at Art Area B1 as part of Osaka Art & Design 2026, running from May 27 (Wednesday) through June 23 (Tuesday), 2026. With only one week left until the closing date, now is the final opportunity to experience this work.
The exhibition makes visible forces that are ordinarily invisible and overlooked — the wind of nature, noise lurking in space, and the structural systems of infrastructure that support urban life — by materializing them through ribbons, mirror sheets, iron wire, video, and vibration.
The venue, Art Area B1, is an art space located on the basement level of the 中之島線 (Nakanoshima Line) "なにわ橋駅" (Naniwa Bridge Station) of the Keihan Railway. The station entrance features a design by architect Tadao Ando that pursues artistic expression, with a distinctive space characterized by LED lighting installed inside curved glass block walls. The location allows visitors to enjoy not just the exhibition itself, but also the urban spaces and architecture of Nakanoshima.
"Resonance" is an installation in which visitors do not simply observe works from a distance, but instead part ribbons, become immersed in reflections, and physically experience changes in vibration and shadow as they move through the space. The exhibition creates a setting where data and material, stillness and motion, nature and artifice all interfere with one another.

Exhibition Concept: "Resonance" Between Invisible Forces and Matter
"Resonance" is an attempt to bring into being, as an overwhelming-scale physical space, the invisible energies that exist within nature and urban environments.
Environmental data from the past, vibrations from low-frequency sound, and the subtle trembling of air — when these come into resonance with ribbons, mirror sheets, and iron wire (industrial materials that are in themselves inorganic), how does the space transform?
The exhibition aims to allow visitors to perceive, through bodily experience — looking, walking, parting, and becoming wrapped in reflections — the forces of the environment and the structure of the city that ordinarily go unnoticed.
