Salad Cafe SALA PARA, located in Hankyu Umeda Main Store, is adding five new wrap sandwiches to its lineup this September and October, exclusive to this store, each combining a colorful, well-balanced mix of ingredients. Salad Cafe SALA PARA is operated by Salad Cafe Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kenko Mayonnaise Co., Ltd.
The new wraps range from a hearty teriyaki chicken option to the classic shrimp and avocado combination and a Korean-inspired flavor, each with its own distinct character to suit the mood of the moment.
Three wraps arrive first on September 16 (Wednesday): a Mexican tacos wrap, a shrimp and avocado wrap, and a teriyaki chicken and root vegetable salad wrap. Two more follow in October: a Korean-style beef kalbi and kimchi wrap and a steamed chicken and Chinese-style glass noodle salad wrap. True to a salad specialty shop, each wrap brings together vegetables and other ingredients of varying color and texture in a balanced mix, wrapped in a tortilla. Easy to eat one-handed, the wraps still deliver a satisfying meal with more than ten kinds of ingredients, making them a fit for lunch as well as a light bite or dinner in a variety of everyday scenes.
As tortillas, one of Mexico's staple foods, draw growing attention for their versatility and colorful appearance amid rising interest in Mexican cuisine, Salad Cafe hopes these wrap sandwiches offer an easy way to enjoy them.
