Miniature versions of kids' sandals designed with Sanrio Characters motifs are coming to capsule toy vending machine corners across Japan. The new product, "Sanrio Characters Mini Kids Sandals" (5 varieties / 400 yen per turn, tax included), is set to roll out from late April 2026.
Sanrio Characters Mini Kids Sandals (5 Varieties)
These capsule toys recreate three-dimensional flower-adorned kids' sandals in miniature form. Each piece features a Sanrio Characters-designed insole, with the body color varying by character. The five designs available are Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi. The pump-like shape, glittery clear material, and textured floral pattern on the surface all come together to evoke the childhood feeling of admiring sparkling sandals.
The items come with a hanger for displaying alongside other miniature items, and can also be attached to pouches or bags using the included ball chain.
