This historic wooden boathouse, located on a seaside path near Onomichi Station, was built 140 years ago in 1885 (Meiji 18). When Onomichi flourished as a port of call for Kitamae ships, this place served as a transit point for goods and is now a precious architectural heritage that conveys port town culture to the present day.
