Following the social media hit "Okura and Mekabu Udon with Bonito and Kelp Dashi," Seven-Eleven Japan's Seven Premium line is adding another udon option to its roster. Starting June 9, the Seven Premium Tororo Kombu and Ume Udon will begin rolling out at Seven-Eleven stores across Japan, with tororo kombu and ume taking the spotlight.
At just 218 kcal per serving, the bowl is designed to be a light yet satisfying choice — equally suited for lunch or a late-night meal.
A Healthy Udon with Gentle Flavor

Seven Premium Tororo Kombu and Ume Udon
- Price: ¥158 (tax included: ¥170.64)
- On sale from: Tuesday, June 9 (rolling out gradually)
- Available: Nationwide
Smooth Noodles with Authentic Japanese Dashi
The udon uses non-fried noodles that deliver a smooth, silky mouthfeel. The broth is a Japanese-style dashi crafted from bonito, kelp, iriko (dried sardines), and mackerel, resulting in a layered umami flavor that carries through the entire bowl.
Healthy and Satisfying Toppings

The toppings bring together umami-rich tororo kombu, crispy ume pickled plum for a bright, refreshing sour accent, and stem wakame for added crunch. Despite being low in calories and light in profile, the combination makes for a filling bowl.
Accessible at ¥158 and 218 kcal per serving, the udon is easy to reach for as a quick lunch or a lighter late-night option.
Prices may vary by store. Some stores may not carry the product.
