Shibuya PARCO is hosting SHIBUYA PARCO "PERSON" from March 13 (Fri) to March 22 (Sun), 2026. Launching a new initiative centered on the concept of "people," the program shines a light on individuals, communities, and the things humans create, exploring them through events, interviews, pop-up shops, and exhibitions.
During the period, the music of Ryuichi Sakamoto will be played throughout the building. A special program on SUPER DOMMUNE will also be broadcast on March 16 (Mon).
Ryuichi Sakamoto MUSIC for SHIBUYA PARCO

In March and April 2026, the music of Ryuichi Sakamoto fills Shibuya PARCO. Playlists are curated by Naohiro Ukawa (March), selected by The Estate of Ryuichi Sakamoto, and TOWA TEI (April), each reconstructing Sakamoto's works from their own perspective.
Ryuichi Sakamoto (1952–2023) was born in Tokyo and completed a master's degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. He made his solo debut in 1978 with Thousand Knives and the same year co-founded YMO. His film scores earned him numerous international awards, including a British Academy Award for Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Grammy for The Last Emperor, among many others. He was also active in environmental advocacy and founded the forest conservation group "more trees."
Naohiro Ukawa, born in 1968, is a multimedia artist and pioneer of Japan's live streaming scene. In 2010, he independently launched "DOMMUNE," Japan's first live streaming studio and channel. He received the Minister of Education's Art Encouragement Prize in 2021.
TOWA TEI debuted internationally in 1990 as a member of DEEE-LITE with the album World Clique. He has since released 13 solo albums, and his latest album AH!! was digitally released on March 29, 2025.
