Shin Ramyun Pop-Up Store "SPICY HAPPINESS IN summer!" Opens at Enoshima on July 11 — the Third Stop After Harajuku and Sapporo

Nongshim Japan is opening a limited-time pop-up store for its Shin Ramyun brand, sold in more than 100 countries worldwide, called "SPICY HAPPINESS IN summer!" The store runs from July 11 (Saturday) through September 13 (Sunday), 2026, inside the beach house "AOSHIRO RESORT" at Katase Nishihama Beach in Shonan's Enoshima. The bright red, Shin Ramyun-themed interior stands out along Enoshima's beachfront, and visitors can enjoy six original Shin Ramyun menu items as well as a "Han River ramen experience." An opening event also takes place from July 18 (Saturday) to 20 (Monday, holiday), offering free Shin Ramyun tastings for three days only (first-come, first-served, limited quantities) along with an original game where guests can win Shin Ramyun products.

Why Summer Might Be the Season for Spicy Shin Ramyun

Pre-open and grand open of the Shin Ramyun pop-up store
Pre-open: July 1 (Wednesday), 2026 / Grand open: July 11 (Saturday), 2026 — during the pre-open period, only a limited menu is available in advance

This is the third time a limited-time Shin Ramyun store has opened at an Enoshima beach house, following its last appearance in 2024, a two-year gap. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of Shin Ramyun, so the store is being held under the theme "Shin Ramyun Is Fun in Summer Too," in the brand's largest space yet for this kind of event. "SPICY HAPPINESS IN summer!" is the third Shin Ramyun pop-up store to open in Japan, following earlier locations in Harajuku and Sapporo. Inside, decorations such as a "Shin" object and a "Korean Ramen Shelf" bring the Shin Ramyun world to life, alongside original arranged Shin Ramyun menu items created by AOSHIRO RESORT, one of Japan's largest beach houses, and a "Han River ramen experience" familiar to many in Korea. Shin Ramyun is eaten year-round rather than only in colder months, and is enjoyed by a wide range of people regardless of season — some like to work up a sweat eating it in the summer heat, while others prepare cold, summer-style arrangements. This summer, Enoshima offers a chance to enjoy Shin Ramyun in an open, lively beachside setting.

Brand Message: "Spicy Happiness In Noodles"

Shin Ramyun brand message visual

Shin Ramyun's global tagline, "Spicy Happiness In Noodles," expresses the brand message it shares with the world. The phrase takes its initial from "Shin" (辛), making it easy to relate to even for people in countries that don't use Chinese characters.

It conveys the idea that "spiciness" brings "happiness," held within "a bowl of noodles" — expressing the hope that the heat of Shin Ramyun can turn into a special moment. Carried by this message, Shin Ramyun continues to be enjoyed as a noodle dish that brings people together across borders, adding flavor to everyday life around the world.
