Starting July 1 (Wednesday), Kodansha's Young Magazine has produced a special seasonal beach house at Katase Nishihama and Kugenuma Beach in Fujisawa.
Called "Yanmaga: Drink & Read Beach House," it's a dream space where visitors can enjoy all-you-can-read manga while sipping drinks. The lineup covers 13 Young Magazine titles in total — current serializations such as Nezumi's First Love and The Fable: The Third Secret, alongside past classics like Initial D and Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji. Across the full run, the shelves will hold a combined total of roughly 10,000 manga volumes, making for an impressive reading space.

Only the first volume of each of the 13 titles will be displayed on the shelves. All 13 titles are planned to be available throughout the event period, though depending on timing, not every title may be on the shelf at a given moment.

A Special Menu for Diving Into the Manga's World — Order One and Take a Manga Volume Home as a "Summer Memory"
In addition to a standard food menu, the beach house also offers a special menu called "That Yanmaga Meal," designed to let visitors experience the world of the featured manga. Be sure to try dishes like "Fujiwara Tofu Shop's Hiyayakko (Cold Tofu)," inspired by the tofu shop that Bunta runs in Initial D, and the "Omelette Rice" that actually appears in 1-nichi Gaishutsuroku Hanchō — special dishes offering an even deeper manga experience.
Furthermore, guests who order from the "That Yanmaga Meal" menu will receive a "Summer Memory Vinyl Bag." After enjoying the beach house, they can freely choose one manga volume from the shelf to take home — a special added service.
