Shinagawa Prince Hotel will offer a limited-time "Chinese Afternoon Tea Strawberry Tea Banquet" at its Chinese restaurant Shinagawa Daihanten (Main Tower 4F) from January 13, 2026 to March 15, 2026.
Designed by a young female chef, this afternoon tea features ruby-like strawberries in a variety of forms including almond jelly, mousse, and macarons, with subtle accents of Sichuan pepper and red wine adding depth to the sweet flavors. The savory selections showcase the artistry and refined techniques of Chinese cuisine, including an elegant appetizer of snow crab and caviar, fragrant shark fin soup, xiaolongbao and flowering shumai, and chicken braised with dried tangerine peel. The experience concludes with crab meat fried rice with bean paste. This elegant tea banquet brings fresh, delicate sensibility to Chinese cuisine essences, celebrating the arrival of the new year with the vibrant brilliance of seasonal strawberries.
From the Takanawa-Shinagawa area, a gateway connecting Japan with the world as it continues to evolve, the fresh radiance of spring strawberries gracefully celebrates the new year. Through this afternoon tea that embodies the hotel's concept "FUN! Goes On," guests can enjoy seasonal ingredients and fruits while experiencing the rich flavors of strawberries and Chinese savories that enhance refreshing moments in the new year.
