A Free Leaflet with a Sunflower Map

A self-guided leaflet, "Rediscover the Charm of Shinjuku Central Park! Enjoy Sunflowers in the Park and at the Museum," is being handed out in the park. It features a map of where to find the park's sunflowers, along with an introduction to Vincent van Gogh's "Sunflowers," part of the permanent collection at the nearby SOMPO Museum of Art. It makes a handy companion for a summer sunflower stroll.

About Shinjuku Central Park

Shinjuku Central Park is the largest ward-run park in Shinjuku. It includes the "Shibafu Hiroba" (Lawn Square), the "Chobo no Mori" (Viewing Forest), which offers sweeping views over the Nishi-Shinjuku skyscraper district, and the "Hana no Mori" (Flower Forest), where seasonal flowers can be enjoyed. There is also a "Chibikko Hiroba" play area for children, with combination play equipment and a large slide.
