At Umeda Sky Building in Osaka, visitors can tour a Christmas market where a symbol tree about 25 m tall sparkles, along with photo spots, then take in the night view of Osaka from the Kuchu Teien Observatory (空中庭園展望台), 173 m above the ground.
This year's Christmas event, UMEDA SKY BUILDING Christmas 2026 "THE STARLIGHT TOWN — A Story Spun by Noel the Black Cat and the Stars" (黒猫ノエルと星が紡ぐ物語), goes beyond food and goods to offer a special time available only this winter.
Details have now been announced for the Christmas market "Wonder Christmas Marche," along with a limited parfait and heart lock for Kuchu Teien Xmas (空中庭園Xmas) and information on value set tickets.
What Is Wonder Christmas Marche?
"Wonder Christmas Marche" is a Christmas market spread across Wonder Square (ワンダースクエア), the plaza on the 1F of Umeda Sky Building.
Wooden huts line up around the symbol tree, which stands about 25 m tall. Visitors can enjoy warm food and drinks and come across goods they will want to take home, as if walking through a story.
After having warm food and browsing goods under the tree and taking photos at photo spots that express the world of the story, visitors can head up to the observatory 173 m above the ground and enjoy the sparkling night view. The Christmas season at Umeda Sky Building offers more than the Wonder Christmas Marche alone.
Christmas Market Food and Goods to Warm Body and Soul
The food and drink booths offer a wide variety of menu items again this year, including hot drinks to enjoy while looking at the tree, food that sets a Christmas mood, and colorful sweets.
The merchandise booths display handmade goods and art works from Japan and abroad, so the market is also a place to look for a treat for oneself or a gift for someone special.

In one corner of the Christmas market, a special concept booth lets visitors experience the world of the British-style pub "HUB (ハブ)."
A wooden deck and original tables around the booth create a space where visitors can stay and relax.

The original mug that has been popular every year returns this year.
Its colors are reminiscent of a Northern European town, and the design, depicting the world of the story, is available only this year. The Umeda Sky Building Christmas mug is a keepsake of a Christmas memory found nowhere else.
Mejirushi Charm Capsule Toys, Exclusive to Umeda Sky Building Christmas

A Limited-Design Heart Lock
Winter-only heart lock: ¥1,500
The heart lock (ハートロック), a heart-shaped padlock that symbolizes the Kuchu Teien Observatory and is an essential part of making memories there, appears in an event-limited design.
The design shows Noel the black cat playfully pawing at and chasing a twinkling star as if it were a toy. It is a design available only this winter, packed with the world of the event.

Value set tickets are available for enjoying the Christmas market more easily. The set tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Monday, November 2.
