The touring exhibition The Exhibition of The World of Shirow Masamune –The Ghost in the Shell and The Path of Creation– has opened at Matsuzakaya Nagoya Store, starting Sunday, August 2, 2026.
The exhibition, held since April 2025 at Setagaya Literary Museum in Tokyo and drawing a strong response at Shinsaibashi PARCO as well, has now arrived in the Tokai region for the first time.
Tickets are on sale through e+, and the tote bag bonus included with the goods-included ticket comes in a color exclusive to the Nagoya venue, light purple. In addition, two new T-shirt designs and one new poster have been newly added to the original merchandise lineup, on sale starting at the Nagoya venue.
During the exhibition period, a limited quantity of Fuchikoma coloring pages will also be given out free to visiting children, making the exhibition an enjoyable destination for summer vacation projects or family outings.

About Shirow Masamune
Born in Hyogo Prefecture, he is a manga artist and illustrator. He began working in manga and illustration in 1980, and made his commercial debut in 1985 with Appleseed. In 1989, he began serializing his signature work, Ghost in the Shell. He also participated as co-director on the animated film Black Magic M-66. He has been active across a wide range of creative fields, including games and art books.
