Japanese-Western confectionery shop Shorakuen, based in Yoyogi-Uehara, Tokyo, will hold a pop-up store at Hankyu Umeda Main Store's BEYOND WORLD from February 4 (Wednesday) to February 14 (Saturday).

The pop-up store coincides with the opening of Hankyu Valentine Chocolate Expo 2026, featuring Shorakuen's unique collection of confections inspired by their "souvenir shop from a utopia" concept. Known for their fantastical worldview reminiscent of old Japanese fairy tales and distant foreign lands, Shorakuen creates innovative confections using Japanese ingredients and motifs.

A newly introduced edible celestial body created from actual lunar topographic data. This fantasy-inspired chocolate confection evokes the hometown of Princess Kaguya. Breaking through the thin chocolate mountain surface reveals strawberry and salted cherry blossom ganache at the summit, matcha cake and azuki beans in the middle section, and cherry leaf ganache at the base. The mountain bottom uses matcha from Shizuoka Prefecture, creating flavors that evoke the arrival of spring.
