An Antique Jewel Box Inspired by Western Architecture
This year's "Christmas Limited Tin" (クリスマス限定缶) from Aoyama Decarbo (青山デカーボ) reworks the earlier "Christmas Limited Castle Tin" (クリスマス限定お城缶) into the image of an antique jewel box fitted with a music box.
As in past versions, the castle-themed tin features a glass painting design that looks like stained glass. The design draws on stucco decoration seen in Western architecture, and the delicate, ornate beauty created by white and gold has been carried over into the tin.

A poinsettia, a symbol of Christmas, decorates the side of the lid, and a castle gate decorates the side of the body.
Opening the lid gently reveals a glass painting of a Christmas bell on the side that is normally hidden. The new picture that appears only once the tin is opened is meant to express the excitement of opening a jewel box.
A Bonus "Miniature Tin Padlock" Shaped Like a Tiny Candy Tin

Note: Image is for illustration purposes.
The bonus gift that many look forward to each time is a "Miniature Tin Padlock" (ミニチュア缶の南京錠), which looks like the familiar candy tin simply made smaller.
It is modeled on three tins: the "Christmas Castle Tin" (クリスマスお城缶), the "Unicorn Tin" (ユニコーン缶), and the "Cat Playing Card Tin" (ネコのトランプ缶). Even at miniature size, it faithfully reproduces the embossing that creates shading on the actual candy tins. It catches the light and shimmers like the real tins, and even the momentary glint has been carefully finished.

The padlock is not just decoration. Insert the key and turn it by hand, and the lock actually opens.
The small key is a further miniaturized version of the "key charm" that came as a bonus with last year's "Christmas Limited Emblem Tin" (クリスマス限定エンブレム缶). It has evolved from a charm in the shape of a key into a key that opens a padlock. For customers who know the "Christmas Limited Emblem Tin," it is meant to carry on that lingering feeling and continue the small story.

New "Jewel Box Feet" Magnets Turn a Candy Tin Into a Jewel Box

To give the antique music box-like jewel box a more three-dimensional look, magnetic "Jewel Box Feet" (宝石箱のあし) have been created.
Attaching the "Jewel Box Feet" magnets to the bottom of the tin transforms it into something that looks like an antique music box or jewel box.
The magnets can be attached not only to this year's "Christmas Limited Tin" but also to a variety of other Aoyama Decarbo candy tins. They add color to an everyday tin and make the time spent looking at it more memorable.

After the sweets are finished, the tin can be fitted with the magnets and kept as a small jewel box for accessories or treasured items.

A Small Christmas Jewel Box to Carry Around: The "Miniature Christmas Tin Charm" With an Opening Lid

A "Miniature Christmas Tin Charm" (ミニチュアクリスマス缶のチャーム) is also being released, so the bonus "Miniature Tin Padlock" can be carried around.
It is a charm that looks like the "Christmas Limited Tin" simply made smaller. The padlock that comes with the "Christmas Limited Tin" can be attached to it, giving the playful feel of carrying a Christmas jewel box with you.

Usage example of the "Miniature Christmas Tin Charm"
The charm is made of metal and carefully reproduces the tin's fine decoration and delicate embossing. Despite its small size, it keeps the look of an antique jewel box.
The miniature charm's lid can actually be opened and closed. The small key to the padlock can be stored inside, so it can be carried around safely.
Note: The padlock comes with the "Christmas Limited Tin." It is not included with the "Miniature Christmas Tin Charm."
Note: Arrival may be delayed. Stock updates will be announced on the official social media accounts.
Rice-Flour Almond Tuile Chocolate Inside

Note: Image is for illustration purposes.
Inside the tin are "Rice-Flour Almond Tuile Chocolate" (米粉のアーモンドチュイールショコラ) sweets, carefully baked with rice flour.
Rich, bitter couverture chocolate is sandwiched between the tuiles. They offer a light, crisp texture and a flavor that suits the ingredients.
A white and gold castle tin, a small padlock, and the cute key that opens it. Add the "Jewel Box Feet," and the candy tin becomes a jewel box. It is a tin to enjoy from the moment the lid is opened, through the time spent eating the sweets, and long after they are gone.
