Yuji Nishimura's Secret Exhibition Comes to Fukuoka Mitsukoshi From December 29

A new exhibition, Yuji Nishimura's Secret Exhibition, will be held at the Mitsukoshi Gallery on the 9th floor of Fukuoka Mitsukoshi in Fukuoka City's Tenjin district from December 29 (Tuesday), 2026 to January 25 (Monday), 2027. Held to mark the 10th anniversary of Yuji Nishimura's activities, the exhibition presents more than 300 of his works.

About Yuji Nishimura

Yuji Nishimura has published a large number of illustrations, manga, and animations, centered on the characters of Studio UG (スタジオUG) such as Gokigen Panda (ごきげんぱんだ), Konezumi (こねずみ), and Love Rabbit (ラブラビット).

He has created many expressive, warmly human characters. The worldview that grows out of his stories, told from a distinctive point of view, and his sense of wordplay are supported by people of all ages and genders.

What to Expect at the Exhibition

Commemorating the 10th anniversary of Nishimura's activities, the exhibition looks at "Yuji Nishimura's past, present, and future" and displays more than 300 of his works. Through the displays, visitors can come to understand his commitments and the appeal of his works more deeply.

Last admission is one hour before closing each day. During the year-end and New Year period, the exhibition follows the facility's business days and hours, which are subject to change.

Preschool children are admitted free of charge, but must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or over (up to 2 preschool children per guardian).
Junior high and high school students are asked to bring a student handbook, student ID, or other form of identification, which will be checked when buying a same-day ticket at the venue.
Visitors who hold a disability certificate, a rehabilitation certificate (ryoiku techo), or a mental health and welfare certificate must also purchase a ticket. If accompanied by a caregiver, one caregiver is admitted free of charge.
The merchandise area for this event is available only to visitors who have entered the exhibition.
