Soratoshiba at Escon Field HOKKAIDO to Launch 2026 Limited Edition "Mokumoku White" Craft Beer in Early March

Soratoshiba by Yonaoyona Ale, the craft beer brewing restaurant located inside Escon Field HOKKAIDO with a view overlooking the entire field, is introducing a new "year-limited" series starting in 2026. As part of this initiative, the first release — "Soratoshiba 2026 Limited Mokumoku White" (beer style: Weizen) — will become available from early March 2026.

The beer style chosen for Mokumoku White is Weizen, said to have originated in Munich, Germany — a sister city of Sapporo. Also widely known as "white beer," this style was selected to celebrate with fans and root for the Fighters' victories.

A New "Year-Limited" Series Launching in 2026

In line with the start of the 2026 professional baseball season, a new "year-limited*" series is being introduced. Alongside the flagship beer "Soratoshiba Play Ball! Ale" and the "Soratoshiba Seasonal" series, three types of beer will be brewed at the venue this year. Through this series, visitors can look forward to discovering something new each time they come to Escon Field, experiencing the excitement and diverse range of options that craft beer has to offer.

Inspired by Fan Voices Calling for "A Beer That Isn't Bitter"

Since opening, staff at the brewery have valued opportunities to engage directly with guests at fan events and other occasions. Through these interactions, some visitors shared their thoughts: "Regular beer tends to be too bitter for me," and "I'd love to try something fruitier with less bitterness." In response to this feedback, the traditional Weizen style — known for its low bitterness — was chosen so that beer lovers who prefer a milder taste can enjoy a drink alongside the baseball action. Mokumoku White features fruity aromas reminiscent of banana and peach derived from Weizen yeast, along with a smooth mouthfeel.
